Position Requirements

Education & Certification

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Current certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or equivalent credentialing organization.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred but not required.
Experience performing abdominal, cardiac/echo, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small-parts ultrasound examinations preferred.
Experience working in an outpatient clinic, hospital, or medical office setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and imaging software.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic procedures.
Ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by healthcare providers.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the examination process and answering questions.
Obtain and document accurate patient histories relevant to the examination.
Capture and evaluate diagnostic images for quality and completeness.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions.
Accurately document findings and upload images into the electronic medical record system.
Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
Assist providers with ultrasound-guided procedures as needed.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies.

Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Part-Time OR Per-Diem Positions Available!

Position Requirements

Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Current certification as an American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or required within six months of hire.
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation

Experience

Minimum one year of experience performing treadmill stress testing in a clinical, hospital, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, wellness, or outpatient setting preferred.
Experience with exercise stress echocardiography and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) preferred.
Experience interpreting exercise test data, functional capacity (METs), and exercise tolerance outcomes for treatment planning and patient education.
Experience working with patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, orthopedic, and chronic health conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of standard exercise testing protocols, including Bruce, Modified Bruce, Naughton, and other commonly utilized protocols.
Ability to recognize normal and abnormal physiological and ECG responses to exercise, including arrhythmias, ischemic changes, chronotropic abnormalities, and abnormal blood pressure responses.
Ability to develop safe, evidence-based exercise prescriptions.
Knowledge of exercise testing protocols and monitoring techniques.
Ability to recognize abnormal physiological responses and emergency situations.
Strong communication, motivational interviewing, and patient education skills.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical activity history, and risk stratification.
Perform and monitor exercise testing and functional assessments.
Develop individualized exercise prescriptions based on patient needs and provider recommendations.
Monitor patients during exercise sessions and evaluate physiological responses.
Educate patients on exercise, disease prevention, risk factor modification, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
Document assessments, treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Communicate patient progress and concerns to healthcare providers and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, diabetes prevention, weight management, or wellness programs as applicable.
Ensure compliance with all safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
Maintain equipment and report safety concerns or malfunctions.
Maintain competency in ECG interpretation, exercise testing protocols, and emergency response procedures.

Nurse Practitioner

Position Requirements

Education

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
NP104 or has an approved independent practice authority is preferred but not required.

Licensure & Certification

Current California Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
National Nurse Practitioner certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in occupational medicine, employee health, urgent care, primary care, emergency medicine, or workers’ compensation.
DOT Medical Examiner certification preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of occupational medicine principles and regulatory requirements.
Understanding of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, workers’ compensation, and employee health programs.
Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat occupational injuries and illnesses.
Knowledge of medical surveillance programs and fitness-for-duty evaluations.

Experience utilizing electronic medical records.
Experience performing and interpreting point-of-care ultrasound examinations.

Ability to recognize normal and abnormal ECG responses during exercise.
Knowledge of standard exercise testing protocols, including Bruce and Modified Bruce protocols.
Ability to identify abnormal cardiovascular responses and initiate appropriate interventions.
Experience reviewing and interpreting exercise test results for occupational clearance and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
Knowledge of performing and interpreting hearing tests, pulmonary functions tests, and visual acuity exams.
Knowledge with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, workers’ compensation, and regulatory requirements.

- Respirator clearance evaluations

Support workplace injury prevention and wellness initiatives.

Perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound examinations as clinically appropriate.
Perform and monitor treadmill exercise stress testing for occupational evaluations
Review diagnostic results and communicate findings to patients as appropriate.
Directly coordinates with clients/patients or employers.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities.

Supervises clinical staff in the clinic
